On Sunday afternoon, Charlie, Dennis and I went with my brother and his girlfriend to Henley's Tree Farm out in Pungo. I'm one of those obnoxious people that has my Christmas tree up well before Thanksgiving so we weren't on the hunt for a real tree but I figured that tagging along with Jordan and Mandi was a great excuse for some family Christmas photos. It turns out, picking out and cutting down your own tree is way more fun than just buying one at the tree lot! Don't get me wrong, I love my beautiful 7.5ft artificial tree but if we ever have the space in a house for more than one tree, I think we'll have to start our own tradition of going to the tree farm.
Unlike Clark Griswold, Jordan did remember to bring a saw.

I probably have the most uncooperative child on the planet when it comes to having his photo taken. Quite honestly if all children were like him, there's no way I'd do family photography but occasionally he surprises me and I get one or two decent shots (out of a hundred.)

Here's a few of the outtakes...I won't subject you to the screaming and temper tantrum throwing!

If you're ever in Pungo, I HIGHLY recommend making a stop at a little restaurant called Southern Fried. They have the most amazing sandwiches, soups, and desserts and we will definitely be making frequent trips there!
