The night before I left Connecticut to come home to Virginia Beach, I got a text message from my friend Brooke (who is also a photographer) that she was going into labor. She and her husband welcomed their adorable son Lincoln into the world the next morning and I was so excited when she asked me to come over and take a couple of family shots for her while I was in town. As a photographer, it's so easy to get caught up in photographing your own children that you forget to include yourself in photos. I have very few photos of Charlie and myself when he was a baby so I was more than happy to step up to the plate because those first few weeks are so special and so fleeting!
Brooke and Aaron, I am SO excited for you guys as you start this crazy, exciting, rollercoaster of a ride called parenthood! I'm also even more excited to be moving back in October, seeing Lincoln grow up, and having some fun shooting together again!
